Benefits Of Sunscreen Moisturizer Are Not Skin Deep

I think it is safe to say that every woman wants to look good. We like to feel like we are pleasant to look at, if not drop dead gorgeous. Some women spend a fortune on treatments and cosmetics to enhance their beauty while other women simply try to take good care of their skin.

The better care you take of your skin the younger and healthier you look. This automatically gives you a more attractive appearance. First of all, keeping your skin clean and hydrated is important. If you wear makeup be sure to wash it off in the evening, giving your skin a chance to breathe. Use a mild cleanser that is formulated for your skin type, oily or dry.

The best type of facial cleansers will not dry out your skin but rather clean it while retaining some of its natural moisture. However, in order to get your skin really clean most of the moisture will be stripped away. This is why it is also important to apply a moisturizer to your skin, especially your face.

Again, there are all types of moisturizers for different skin types. If your skin is dry you will need a thicker cream and oily skin can benefit from a lighter lotion. One thing that people of all skin types should be sure to look for is sunscreen moisturizer.

One of the main things that causes damage to your skin is the sun. Ultraviolet rays from the sun penetrate the skin and damage it. Sunscreen moisturizer will absorb or reflect those rays, keeping them from causing your skin harm.

When you plan to spend a long period of time out in the sun you probably apply a sunscreen lotion to your entire body including your face, but you should protect your skin daily from regular sun exposure by choosing a daily sunscreen moisturizer.

Although it may seem that you don’t spend a lot of time outdoors, the time you do spend adds up and some UV rays can be reflected off of objects and go through clouds to hit you when you don’t actually feel the sun on you at all.

To keep the UV rays from leading your skin to be wrinkle prone and discolored, especially as you age, wear sunscreen moisturizer every day under your makeup. It will keep you looking young and fresh, but more than that, it will help your skin to actually stay healthy. It can even prevent you from getting skin cancer.

Of course the most visible and gratifying benefit of wearing a sunscreen lotion daily is that you look better, but the benefits are much more than skin deep.
